The goal of health coaching is finding a more personal and successful way to bridge the gap between information and transformation, so you may realistically implement changes into your complex life. Over time, what once was a 3 or 6 month goal has “stuck” and becomes a new habit, building forward momentum towards your healthy vision of yourself.

Health coaching is a whole person approach, acknowledging mind, body, and spirit. We will take a birds eye view in discovering your vision, and learn what is important to you. Together, we’ll develop a picture of you in your best health and compare to where you want ot be. With that foundation, you pick the place you want to start focusing on and we’ll set some goals together, typically 3-6 months. After we set a goal, we break into micro steps between sessions and move towards goals we continually assess what is working and what is not realistic in your busy life. As you gain forward momentum, I will empathize with your challenges, hold you accountable towards for your progress, and celebrate your accomplishments.
Teamwork allows individuals to achieve goals that are harder to accomplish alone. The partnership that is created between the coach and the client elicits a spark for making changes. An accountability factor surfaces which generates positive momentum. Desired outcomes which may have seem impossible, and out of reach, are possible.
Athletic coaching is similar and different than health coaching. It’s similar in that the coach will be your partner with you to support and champion you as you take those next steps to reach the health goals you want. It’s different in that unlike sports coaching where the coach is the expert on creating goals and making the plan, with health coaching you are the expert on you. The agenda is client driven and you choose where to start and what you want to achieve.
We differ from traditional therapy as we don’t spend a lot of time unpacking the past and inner change. Integrative Health Coaching is forward looking and progress oriented. Coaching is on moving towards goals.
